HOW DID YOU GET STARTED?
I was working out in the gym intensely and a basketball teammate of mine invited me to compete in a powerlifting meet since she thought I would be good at it. I didn't win anything on my first competition and it fueled my obsession to get stronger from that moment forward.
WHAT IS YOUR PROUDEST MOMENT?
My proudest moment was being promoted to SSgt and proving to myself that I am a leader on the journey in mentoring the next generation in the Air Force.
WHAT DOES STRENGTH & DISCIPLINE MEAN TO YOU?
Strength and discipline means having the grit to power though even on your worst day. It’s showing the world what you’re made of through life’s adversity
WHY DID YOU JOIN THE MILITARY?
I joined the Air Force because I wanted to be apart of something bigger than myself. Something I can be proud of and make an impact on.
WHY IS YOUR BIGGEST INSPIRATION?
My biggest inspiration is and will always be Kobe Bryant. Kobe's natural instincts and the Mamba mentality has always been a mantra that meant a lot to me. Mamba Mentality is a constant quest to be the best version of one's self.

HOW DID YOU START POWERLIFTING?
I started powerlifting in February of 2017. I seen a random ad on Facebook for USAPL Military Nationals and decided to give it a try. I have not looked back since. With one month to prepare, my football coach and I hit the ground running.
WHAT DOES STRENGTH & DISCIPLINE MEAN TO YOU?
There are many things in our life that we have no control over, but Strength and discipline is something that we have full control over. This could be mental, spiritual, or physical strength. All about how disciplined you are to get better each day
WHY DID YOU JOIN THE MILITARY?
I joined the military for a few reasons. One, i wanted to do my part in serving. I always thought, "If not me, who's son or daughter". I also joined to travel the world. I've been to several different countries so far in my career. I also joined for the educational benefits. Currently working on my Bachelors Degree for Kinesiology and I haven't paid for any of it.
WHO/WHAT IS YOUR BIGGEST INSPIRATION?
My biggest inspiration is my father. Hardest working man that I know. Through long, strenuous, and demanding shifts of manual labor, he always found time to make sure we was active. Whether this was coaching, going to practice, or just being there.
